Looooong update

stealsyourteaSo, I caught a cold hence why I haven't updated. Though the past few days have been BUSY!
Thursday was the coldest day this month. So, that day I decided to return the DVR to Time Warner cable. I have this little roller bag that I used to transport it. But, the biggest problem that day was the TRAINS. Ugh, I has to transfer TWICE to get to the right stop. I'm pretty string but lugging something up and down the stair four times is tiring. Returning the DVR only took 20 minutes. Afterwards, I went to Specers to pick up a few things. Then, I took advantage of the food court go myself some fake tacos aka I went to Taco Bell. I was a breif freakout because I thought I lost/someone stole my umbrella. Luckily, I remembered to call Spencer's. Sure enough, I had left my umbrella there. I got it.
Also, OMG OMGOMG. I FOUND A PLACE IN THAT MALL THAT SELL LOOSE TEAS. I NEARLY FREAKED OUT. GOODBYE MONEY. Seriously though, they have like nearly a hundred tyoes of teas and you can try some of them. *Bounces* It's like a little piece of heaven. I mean, I love Adaigo teas, but it so different than being able to physical but the tea and measure it. Oh, the place is called Teavana. I will not being going there every time since it's still expensive. I did buy myself something. (Also, a tea measurer since the one I had disappeared) I still iff on where or not to buy the German Rock sugar or just keep looking for agar. (or other natural sweeteners) Then, I went to Target b/c I promise my mom to look and buy a GF grill and Teflon frying pans. I found neither in that particular Target. I spent a good hout there before heading home and then looking in my Target and taking pics of other things we may need.
Also, Toku talk that night. Somehow during one point of the conversation, we found a list of ratings forall Kamen Rider series and Sentai series ever made. Long story short, after look through all the series, we watched the first episode of Agito. (I've watch Fourze, Double, Wizard, and V3. My emories of V3 are fuzzy at best b/c I was a tyke) I'll just say this. It pretty dark. I mean, not even 10 minutes in and BAM some is stuffed into a tree.
Also, we found out that Wizard is well liked by everyone Except us. We all dislike Wizard. Also, most Toku fans don't LIKE Kyoruger, we loved it. It's a comedic show/Sentai. Hence why it's not that popular. B| Booo.
Friday another day out. I got the luggage thing. While my mom went to the X-ray place with her aide, I went to Target to buy the grill and frying pans. I got some cooking spray too. I also took pictures of items that we would want to get. After that, I lugged the mini cart to pick up my mom. We went to a nearby food court and ate. We also got frozen yogurt. \o/
While coming home, the one of the guys from the ambulette notice my 3DS. He asked me what I had been playing. I told him that I was taking a break from my game and playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. He asked about what esle I had and told him all my games. I added that was just for the 3DS. I have more games for my DS. We talked about game some more. I really had to stop from being mean when they said, "You're the first girl that has ever been super interested in video games." All my life, I've know lots of girls that were into gaming. Hell, most of my current gal pals love games and are hardcore gamers. (Even if one sucks at playing games that aren't puzzle.)
Saturday - ANOTHER DAY OUT. Anyways, David came back from Hawaii on Friday. Sine I was planning to do some shopping, I decided to hang out with him. We went to this really great little sushi buffet that I never knew exist in Main Street. Afterward, I bought a new cart thing, bought a toaster and brita filter. Afterwards. we sat down and watch the new season Whose Line is It Anyways? We commented on it generally. It's good so far.
Sunday - Play SMT IV and slept
Today - Drank tea, played SMT IV and slept.
Anyways, I gonna talk a little about Shin Megami Tensai IV. Now, I can say I got into SMT late. I started off playing Persona games. My first being P3:FES. It was then my love for Persona and later SMT began to grow. My collection of SMT games is small. (Persona 5, Persona 3:FES, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers and Shin Megami Tensai 4
So, I will say this is. I ADORE THE GAME. Yes, it's hard as fuck. I died SO MANY TIMES in the beginning. It was ridiculous. Seriusoly, this is a game that tests your meddle and patience. So far, the plot line is so interesting. I was SURE that I had reached the end when PLOT TWIST! Yeah, I'm sure I'm halfway through? I think I am I have no guide so, I don't have a clue.

Date: 2013-08-01 05:22 am (UTC)No, it isn't since I know like 70% of gamers are girls. Also, all the girls I've met apart from maybe 2 were gamers. So, yeah, that like threw me off. (I think the main reason most girls don't talk about gaming is b/c some guys still think, 'Oh, you must play easy games/noob' or SHOW ME UR TIT OR NO BELIEVE. I've only had brushes with: 'Are these games for your brother/boyfriend?" Only twice)

Date: 2013-08-01 06:29 am (UTC)Regardless of girls or guys, I never understood that sigma that you have to play "hardcore" games to be consider a real gamer. If you play games, you're a gamer. That's it, in my opinion.
I personally find some of the "hardcore" games rather boring (i.e - FPS games. I just can't get into them.) But I love puzzle games.
Games should be fun! ^^ There's something out there for everyone.
Also, I bet some of the guys that are like, "SHOW ME UR TIT OR NO BELIEVE" are under the delusion that they're the sort of "nice guys" girls pass up for "douchebags." I just hate that attitude toward girl gamers.

Date: 2013-08-04 04:35 am (UTC)I suck at FPS. I mean, I would LOVE to play them, but I am bad at them. Ditto for fighting games. Action, RPG and puzzles games are my area of expertise.
I can definitely believe those people saying that are "Nice guys". Not to mention, that attitude is what make girls be afraid to admit the like video games. (Of course, the ones the spit vile things about girl gamer are sometimes the same people that are, "We need more girls that plaaay games" )
