I can't believe you actually got that "boyfriend's games" line. How... insulting?
Regardless of girls or guys, I never understood that sigma that you have to play "hardcore" games to be consider a real gamer. If you play games, you're a gamer. That's it, in my opinion.
I personally find some of the "hardcore" games rather boring (i.e - FPS games. I just can't get into them.) But I love puzzle games.
Games should be fun! ^^ There's something out there for everyone.
Also, I bet some of the guys that are like, "SHOW ME UR TIT OR NO BELIEVE" are under the delusion that they're the sort of "nice guys" girls pass up for "douchebags." I just hate that attitude toward girl gamers.
