Bah, sorry I haven't post in the last fews days. I haven't been feeling. I think I'm on the verge of catching a summer cold. Which is possible because we have central A/C because my mom suffocates due to heat. (Also, this stems back to her illness. The heat isn't any good for her)
Also, I got news from my mom's social worker about the medicaid thing. Apparent;y. we have nothing to worry about. So, that letter just stupid or a mistake. We do need to re-certify her this month, but my mom isn't losing her Medicaid at all. Yay!
I got a email from Target saying, "Thanks for your application, but we don't have a position for you," It sorta sucks, but I'm not letting it get me down. I can always try again next month. Besides, at least I got a response. I prefer a response to no response at all.
Anyways, I went out to pick up a few things and stopped at Gamechamp and Gamestop. Gamestop, I finished paying off Project X Zone. I chatted a bit with the dude working there. I don't know his name. I think he could be new. Afterwards, I dropped by Gamechamp to buy some headphone. I chatted with the owner, Fransico, a bit. As I was buying my headphones, he asked about my friend Sam and if I was able to talk to her afterward. (Also, this is not the same Sam that I do the Toku talks with) I told him a quick summary of what happened and drifting away. HE nodded at that and mentioned friendship sometimes just faded. It was nice. I got my head phone and bid him adieu.
Sam is a difficult topic to discuss. It's not due to the fact she was my bff and no longer friends. It;s just tiredness over the same situation and a bad friendship which I let encourage. (It was not solely Sam's fault. I do have same blame in this bad friendship) Anyways, I thought I'd be more broken up about losing my best friend. I'm not. I guess some part of me had already accepted it. I just hadn't really thought it out. That being said, I will miss having some to hang out with. I mean I can hangout with David, but I talk to him everday. I'd hang out with Kate but she lives all the way in long Island. So, it hard to do spontaneous hangouts. Though, I am planning to go over to her house and spend a few days to just hang out and generally be silly. Also, to just squee about general WHovian stuff. I sorta hope that's I'll have a new laptop by then. My current laptop is okay. Just the screen occasionally glitches out.
I tried out China Glaze nail polish. It's all right. I've had it on for about two days now. No signs of chipping. My only complait, I suppose, that it takes at least three coats before the color become opaque. For now, I'm just chalking it up to the colors. I did a little nail art. It came out okay. At least it was okay to me since I can see the minor imperfections.

Date: 2013-06-08 08:00 pm (UTC)I'm sorry things didn't work with Target. But as you said, at least you got a response. And who know, they might have something for you in the future. When I was younger, I used to go to all the shops in the mall and surrounding area and ask people directly if they had any positions open. I eventually found something that way.
It's good you're out of that toxic relationship but also understandable that you're feeling sad about it. It's okay to grieve about what was lost.
Love your nails! Very clever and you must have steady hands to make all of these designs.

Date: 2013-06-10 05:22 am (UTC)Yeah, I actually overheard a possible job opportunity while I was out today. So, there is a good chance of find a place to work in my area.
Thanks. I'm not that clever I take my ideas from nail art blog that I follow. I try to imitate them as best as I can. I guess I do? I never thought steady hands was part of it. Mostly work VERY SLOWLY to achieve this
