Well, that was a surprising call
Aug. 20th, 2013 09:32 pmSo, we got a call right now. My grandmother's sister died today. To be frank, I'm surprised. Considering how tough she was, I thought she wouldn't pass til she was at least 100. Still, she died at 93. Her death was rather peaceful.(She drank her afternoon coffee and went to sleep. She never woke up)
My grandmother is torn up since my aunt Paulina was her last living sister. She turned into a sobbing mess. I'm trying to comfort her as best I can. We looking into a flight for her. Also, my mom and I are mad because our relatives decided to call us just today. We're comforting my grandmother by telling that she was a good sister. She (my grandmother) talked to her sister last week. When she was in Peru, my grandmother always visited her sister and spent time with her. She visited my aunt in the hospitable and looked after my aunt's dog. We told, she can bury her sister with a clean conscience.
So, my mom is looking to call my aunt Clara (my aunt daughter) so that they can wait until my grandmother gets there. It's sad. Oddly enough, I spoke to my aunt Paulina a lot. I won't speak ill of the recently dead, but she wasn't a nice person. Still, it sad to know that she's gone. It's odd. Really, we won't be hearing my aunt's outrageous lies anymore or stories about her dog.
Well, may she rest in peace.
(Also, sorry if this entry sounds blase. I mean, I was sorta close to her but didn't love her. I cared for her I think? Anyways, her soul is with God now. I hope!)
