Okay, so I've been trying to do some water marbling only to FAIL SO COMPLETELY. (This is what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reVsagoJEmo)
My first problem was not being able to make the nail polish spread in the water. It took me so long. THen I read up more, only to realise that my water needed to be warmer. Then, when I finally got it to spread...my nail polish ate through the Styrofoam. So, nail polish eats through Styrofoam. This is what I learned that day. 8D
Anyways, my failure kept continuing for over an hour. I managed to get the polish to spread but not make a design. After that, I went FUCK IT. So, I threw out the water an cleaned up. Anyways, I looked up what was my problem. I use OPI which is thick and they suggest a polish that isn't think. So, that was my problem. I do have two china glaze polishes. So, I'm will to try those. Also, I found another brand that is good for water marbling/ So, that was my adventure in water marbling. But hey, it was a learning experience 83
I managed to snag ticket for the Wolverine pre-premiere next Tuesday....Hugh Jackman is going to be there 8DDDD That is really the only reason I'm going. I really do like him. I hope I can take a pic of him. If I mange to get a picture WITH HIM. *DIES* Seriously, I am interested in the movie. The trailers make it look interesting.
So, today and Sunday, I hd the usual Toku talk. Msotly us joking around and watching movies/series. THe first thing we saw was a show called Keitai Sousakan 7. It is a very interesting show. The main character is Keita, a high school student that somehow gets involved in an organization, Under Anchor, that deals with cyber crimes. His partner, or "buddy", is Seven, a sentient silver cellphone. (Yeah, a sentient cell phone) It actually really interesting. We watched another two episodes today. I would watch more, but the place that has the series is currently transferring it's files to a new server. So, I have to wait til Friday.
Anyways, we talked a bit. Mostly talk about SDCC and the stuff we're missing. Sam is very sad b/c he could've gone to the con, but didn't. So, regretful he is. Along with that, we talked about the upcoming Power Anniversary special and the cost it took to make it. It came up that Shout Factory is going to release a box set of Power Ranger that consists of 20 season. IN other words, ALL the power rangers Season that are currently out.
I told Sam that it was going to me about 600. He said no, it would be 400. Then, J came in to say that only 2000 copies where going to be released. Sam concede that I was right and it would cost 600. Alex also mentioned how funny it was that SF was over estimating the fandom. As in, the size of the fandom. It a smallish fandom, but an explosive fandom. (The American one anyways. Seriously, the wrong opinion on a message board could get you dog piled)
Also, my sleep cycle is finally repairing itself and less weird dreams. I mean, I don't mind the weird dreams, but still they leave me confused when I wake up.
I picked up SMT IV. I am excited.
