So, this week and last week went from being a fun filled week to a terrible terrible week. All in a span of two days. It feels like it's been longer though. First off, I'll concentrate on the more happier parts.
Last week Sunday, Kate did come over to my area. She brought few new people, well two, and Alex. We went to Anime Castle where I drooled over Rose of Versailles DVD collection. There was some kind of card tournament going on. I didn't buy anything since, sadly, most of my enthusiasm for manga and anime has disappeared. (I still watch sometimes, but not with the same fevor. Unless, It's DGM b/c I adore Rhode. I want to find what happened to her. Oh and the whole Noah things with the 14th) Afterwards, all us head to get hotpot. I haven't had hotpot in MONTHS. I've been craving to get some. I don't go alone becuase going to hotpot alone isn't fun. You sorta of need another person there with you. (Mostly to trade over food with or hoist vegetables that you don't like on the other person or take the stuff they hate and you like) Afterward, we went to the Asian market to get stuff.
I did the hardest thing I have done and did not buy tea. (Mostly since I have a fuck ton at home and I didn't need more) So Kate took it. Afterwards, we got ice cream and talked a bit. Later that week, my mom went to the doctor and got a appointment for this past Monday. Also, on Thursday I went to Target and got a bunch of new clothes. Many it's been years since I got new stuff. I got three dress. Mostly got a few tops and a nice capris. I still want more dresses. Also, I got Dr Suess PJS! FUN.
Then Friday, I went to Kate's house. The train ride was boring. I got lost trying to find a place. I felt sooo stupid. Then when Kate and her mom showed up, they said not to worry. The place they mentioned was no longer there. Kate's mom did the driving since Kate got her blood drawn. Kate's not good with pain. We we planning to go to a tea place (TEEEEA!) but she wouldn't be able to drive the long distance. It was fine with me. We ended watching Un-Go. Wendy, a friend of Kate's and mine too, called. She was going to come over with tooons of tea and bubbles! (Tapioca bubbles to make bubbles tea) I went with Kate to pick up Wendy at her house. (I freaked b/c dead roach on box. Kate stopped the car and freaked with me. Wendy scoffed at us, but threw out the dead roach. ) Afterwards, we made the bubbles. We use the tub of honey Wendy brought to sweeten the bubbles. We played Dokapon Kingdom, drank tean and ate rock sugar. We ended being really high on sugar. We tlked about food.
It lead to talking to Pizza Hut. It lead to us seeing if it was open. In the end, we made a midnight run to KFC to get chicken. Yeah, we listened to some music while I played with Kate's tablet. (Gah, I want one. Wendy, Kate and Alex letting me play with their tablet makes me want on. David to. Boo! STOP TEMPTING ME PEOPLE) Afterwards, Wendy stayed over and we knocked out. I got up at my usual time. (9:00 I was the only one awake. I don't blame Kate or Wendy. I have to be an early rise b/c of my mom)
Once everyone one was awake, we hashed out that day's plans. First, we went to pick up Alex. After that, we went to this little bazaar. I being born in Flushing where bazaars don't exist, was fascinated. I was very much interested in the Pickle place. (What? I've never seen a place the sells just pickles that have different flavors....Other than street fairs) I didn't get anything. I was kindly mocked about my fascination, XD We hit a place called 5 and under. I got tea and a cool, but cheat polish, Then, we hit Micheal;s to get stuff that Kate wanted. We looked for yarn. At one point, I said, "If this is Flamenco, I'm leaving." Alex laughed so hard at that. She made it her stat of FB. The other got stuff I just poked and prodded at things,
Once we left Micheal's, we went on an epic long journey to a heavenly place. In hour words, we spent an hour going to the Sip Tea lounge. OMG, GAIZ. If Teavan is paradise, the Sip Tea lounge is NIRVANA. OR something. IDK. Seriously, the lady behind the counter is super knowledgeable on tea. I got the Russian Carvan. It's dark and okay taste which went well with the Maple Walnut scone. The taste of the tea was strong, but paired with the sweet scone. DIVINE. *Dies thinking of the place*
We did a few other things, I freaked about a huge dog the size of a small horse (A great dane) Alex kindly freaked with me. We managed to edge our way through her. The dog was a sweetheart, but I don't have many good experiences with dogs. (Cat person!) Kate got the fudge that was requested of her mom. Then we headed to Alex's. We bummed there a few hours. I painted nails. (Weee! Fun!) We went to see the meteor shower but mostly failed. (Okay! I got to see a few. Also, Kate and I will swear up and down. But we are sure we say an UFO!!!! I swear! It's was ridiculous high and flying in a straight line. One bright light flashing before BAM! No more lights! It just disappeared 8O)
We went to Alex's house again and spent an hour. (Alex spent time with her boyfriend) Before the whole group dismantled. The next day was quick. I left her house at 4 to catch the train. It was then I learned I forgot my phone at Kate's. (I freaked but I managed to get it back Tuesday). Short note for Tuesday, I got lost trying to take the bus to LI. Twice! Once trying to get to LI and once trying to return to flushing. Nothing interesting happened other that rain.
Monday. Monday and Friday. These were bad days. Okay, Monday was bad. Friday was more exasperating than anything else.
As you all know, my mother is bed bound and paralyses. We went to the Neurologist to have my mother nerves tested. Getting to the place was easy since it's a nearby area. The ambulette people were super nice and friendly. They were new people since we have never seen them before. (We use ambulette to get to doctor's appointments)
When we got there, the easy part was filling in paper work. It was rather quick. The hard part was the examination. For those that don't know, testing for neurological response require electricity. Long story short, the highest setting on the machines didn't entice a reaction from my mother. She barely felt it. (My mom's two aide had these test before and they hurt. B/c electricity) Long story short, the Doctor admitted that there was nothing more he could do and made my mom an appointment for Columbia University Hospital. The appointment is for this Monday, Needless, to say by the end of the visit my nerves aren't that great. (Also, my mom has been sick since I was very young. The paralysis is a new thing that just happened two years ago. Columbia holds no good memories for me. As a kid, it meant I wouldn't be seeing my mother for months at a time or her returning from a visit being utterly exhausted/in pain)
When we came home, I nearly lost my mind. I screamed and cried. Why? Because my grandfather, after he's been PROHIBITED BY BOTH THE FAMILY AND HIS DOCTOR was doing heavy labour. He was laying down tiles with cement of a day that was very hot and very humid. I marched up to him and took the tile. I pretty much ended yelling at him about not caring about his health or that I go out of my way to make sure he's healthy. I was at my limit. I managed to take the tile from him (It was 3 x 2. A small piece of tile) I was planning to throw it out. Since he cares more about the goddamn TILES than his health. He fought me. He scratched, pushed and bruised me for a tile. (That he can get easily enough form the stack of tiles in the garage) I swear to God he would have knocked my flat on my back if I wasn't his granddaughter. Hell, I think he was planning to. The ambulette people were still there and my mom's aide too. He managed to get the tile back when the aide interfered. He even had the gall to be angry at me. Angry at me because of a fucking tile. I screamed and cried more and ending nearly having a nervous break down.
I ended up having to go to my room just to stop upset myself. The ambulette people managed to coax my grandfather into stopping the work and get him out of his work clothes. I cried for a good hour in my room. My mom was a mess a well because she was stuck in a wheelchair. She was in view of see her own father fight his granddaughter for a tile that held no importance. The worse part was I had to force myself to calm down and stop my mother from cry. I had to tell her to stop and calm down. This wasn't any good for fer (I hate having to be responsible for my family mental health while sacrificing mine)
My gradmother? Oh, she was sitting on her ass while the whole fight was going on. As soon as we came inside, "what did I do? I didn't do anything!" No, she didn't stop my grandfather at all. (She can make my grandfather do pretty much anything she wants. It's sad because she doesn't give a fuck about him....Unless, he's sick. Then she's the weeping wife)
Afterwards, my grandfather, after washing up. had the gall to be angry at me for making sure he doesn't collaspe. Later on, he tried to play it as a joke. (No, he still hasn't tried to apologize to me or my mother_ He thinks it's a laughing matter. Since, he lives with me and my mom. If anything were to happen to him, I would be held responsible. Never mind that I need to take care of my sick ailing mother. I need to take care of my grandmother and Papi. One that doesn't care what he does because he thinks he's invincible. The other makes my life miserable by telling me I'm fat and not pretty enough. My grandmother wants me to get married now and have a baby that she can raise. (Never mind, she has other children and great grandchildren. Ones that have babies) I don't want to get married or have children. (My genes are messy as it is. Not to mention, depression and cancer runs in the family. I'm not going to subject any child to her or any other of my blood family)

The worst fact is that I had just came back from a fun three day trip/sleepover at Kate's. They always do that. Anytime I have been able to relax or away for a day or two. My grandparents do something to ruin that relaxation.
Friday - Mostly we had to deal with testy and bad tempered ambulette driver coming back from a doctor' appointment. Bah, I had to report him.
Saturday - I did errands, I was nice getting out in the sun for a few hours.
Today, well it's boring a day. I'm finishing up paper work for tomorrow's visit. Hopefully, all will turn out well. In the meantime, I just want to relax. I'll talk about happier things in a little while since in between many tiny good thing happened this week
